For nearly two decades, I’ve joined dear friends once a year for a cherished “craft retreat.” For some, it’s the only time we see each other all year—but it’s always a time to create, laugh, reconnect, and share life’s highs and lows. Together, we’ve celebrated milestones, walked through challenges, and watched our children grow from kindergarteners to graduates.

Over the years, our retreats have overflowed with creativity—quilting, scrapbooking, writing (and publishing) books, making music, knitting, crocheting, painting, jewelry-making, and more. I always left inspired and in awe of the talented women around me.

That tradition sparked a dream—to create a space where other women could gather for their own special retreats. I envisioned a place with a large, light-filled craft room, cozy living spaces, inviting outdoor areas, and comfortable beds so everyone could rest well.

Canton Creative Retreat is the result of that dream—a place designed for joy, creativity, and connection. I hope it inspires you as much as my own retreats have inspired me. And maybe, it will become a sacred yearly tradition for your group too.
